How you can get involved

Join an organised beach clean

There are a number of regular and ad hoc beach cleans in Brighton. Bring your tea flask or your re-usable coffee cup and make a morning of it.

Host your own beach clean

If you need help organising a public or private beach clean, speak to the team at Surfers Against Sewage. They would be happy to help you make a difference.

Keep the bottle tops you collect

Do your own 2-minute / mini beach cleans. Keep the bottle tops you find. Pop them in a bag and put a label on it.  When you have a small stash for us to collect get in touch

Host a bottle top collection jar

If you’re a cafe, kiosk or restaurant right on the seafront you can host one of our bottle top collecting jars. Encourage customers to put their bottle tops in there rather than in the bins or on the pebbles.

We need volunteers to help us sort, count and record the bottle tops we collect.

If you’d like to be involved, please get in touch.

Our final workshops for making the bottle top infographic will be on
5th, 6th, 8th, 9th,
12th, 13th, 15th and 16th
at the Volks Railway Visitor Centre from 10:30am to 5pm. Please pop in and bring your friends!

Help us by spreading the word. Tag us in your social media pics and posts (#ADropInTheOceanBrighton) and please follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Thank you!
