How you can Be A Drop in The Ocean

Join an organised beach clean

There are a number of regular and ad hoc beach cleans in Brighton. Bring your tea flask or your re-usable coffee cup and make a morning of it.

Host your own beach clean

If you need help organising a public or private beach clean, speak to the teams at Pier 2 Pier or Surfers Against Sewage. They would be happy to help you.

Keep the bottle tops you collect

Do your own 2-minute / mini beach cleans. Keep the bottle tops you find. Pop them in a bag and put a label on it.  When you have a small stash for us to collect get in touch

Host a bottle top collection jar

If you’re a cafe, kiosk or restaurant right on the seafront you can host one of our bottle top collecting jars. Encourage customers to put their bottle tops in there rather than in the bins or on the pebbles.
